Mt Eden Afternoon
One of the earlier attempts at the 'all round' landscape idea. This was before I hit on the idea of using actual cars for my models - I just did little bubble cars.

The first fully fledged painting with the appraoch that I was aiming for. Lots of perspectives, all glommed together - patchwork quilt like. I was quite happy with it. 2006

The second in the series. I always liked Anglias - not great cars really but as teenagers, we all thought they were just it.

Big City, Small World.
Third in the series. Probably the best title I'll ever think of. So good, in fact, that the nice banking couple that bought it later came up with a slogan, for their bank - BNZ 'The Big Lttle Bank of New Zealand.' No bull, and no check in the mail, either.

This was painted in those acrylic free samples they give you in hardware stores. Thick,chunky stuff which can be pretty fun to mess around with. 75 x 43 cm
